Boardroom & emergency response centre

Dual purpose room

“We are extremely happy with the new installation and the level of professionalism you and your team delivered. Thank you.”

Halliburton is one of the world’s largest providers of products and services to the oil and gas industry with more than 72,000 employees in approximately 80 countries. The company recognise that part of the wealth of the oil and gas industry comes from the clever use of technology and AV innovations. They required a new boardroom in their London offices to act as a secondary corporate boardroom outside of the US. The room needed to facilitate the hosting of its most important clients and to act as an emergency response centre should it be required.

A large video wall was installed in order to display multiple images at one time. The four-screen makeup means that a single point of failure is not catastrophic to the functionality of the room. To create the right impression for important clients and delegates, aesthetics were considered alongside functionality. With this in mind, details such as motorised pop-ups were added to neatly facilitate connectivity to the table. As the room may at times be occupied for an extensive duration, the design of the room followed easy eye rotation guidelines. This minimises eye and neck strain for the attendees. To add further comfort for longer durations a Crestron wireless touchpanel enabled easy control of the room including audio, visual, climate control, lighting and blinds.
